In a previous post, we talked about giant inflatable mascots and logos, what they are, and also how they can be used to promote sports events. In today’s post, we’ll go over more specific instances of giant inflatable mascots and logos being used at sports events. Some of these include mascot replicas, giant inflatable sports balls with logos on them, and pure logo inflatables.

Inflatable Animal – The Union Rat
Over at the main website for Inflatable Design Group, we offer many different kinds of inflatables, including an inflatable animal collection. In this catalog, we feature a few different animals. There is one inflatable animal that has a tendency to stick out and draw questions.
The inflatable animal that sticks out to some is the union rat inflatable. We’ve been asked why it’s called that and what it is used for, considering it doesn’t look very pleasing to children who generally like animal inflatables. In today’s post, we’ll discuss what the union rat is, where it comes from, and what it is used for.
To start, the union rat is an inflatable animal that is in the shape of a giant rat. The design of this inflatable animal is not such that it will be pleasant to look it. It is generally grotesque to look at because it is used to draw lots of attention and immediate reactions.
People who are a part of trade unions use the union inflatable rat when they start protests and strikes against their employers or nonunion contractors, which are commonly referred to as rats. The inflatable rat is sometimes called Scabby the Rat. This is in reference to strikebreakers, who are often called scabs.
Strikebreakers are people who work for a company during a strike against the company to keep it running. To be considered a scab, you can either be hired during the strike, or you are a strikebreaker who stops striking and crosses the picket line.
There’s not much more to the tale of the union rat inflatable animal. They have been used for years, with accounts dating back to 1991. They may be unsightly, but they are effective enough for people to want to keep using them.
We at Inflatable Design Group won’t get involved in the politics of your picket, but if you are looking for this type of inflatable animal, we can deliver on the goods. If you want it to look more grotesque than what we feature on our website, you can always get a custom quote from us. Our team of designers can handle anything.
This concludes our post about the inflatable animal known as the union rat. If you have had experience with some inflatable that you’d like to share, feel free to comment in the comment section below. If you’re interested in a union rat inflatable, check out our main web page for more information about getting this inflatable animal.

Inflatable For Sale - Children’s Safety
Children’s safety should always come first when considering buying anything for them, including an inflatable for sale. Inflatables are a huge hit for children of all ages. They might enjoy giant inflatable animals. Giant inflatable water slides are also tons of fun for children. A question you should ask yourself when looking for inflatables for kids is whether or not the inflatable for sale is safe.
In this post, we’ll talk about different kinds of giant inflatables that may appeal to children. We’ll discuss whether we think any of them might have any safety issues for children.
One kind of inflatable for sale for children are inflatable bounces. On the surface, these kinds of giant inflatables seem very harmless to children. The fact that they are designed to support the weight of many bouncing children shows how soft these things are.
However, what might be overlooked is the fact that the actual danger comes from the fact that too many children might use one at the same time. While the bounce itself is fairly safe, how it is used can prove dangerous. Many children bouncing around in a room could potentially bounce into each other, which could end up causing them harm. When looking for a bounce inflatable for sale, keep in mind that you will have to keep an eye on the children for their safety.
Another kind of inflatable for sale worth mentioning is slides. Kids love slides of all types. Giant inflatable slides are certainly no exception to the rule. There are many different designs of inflatable slides for children to play on. Like inflatable bounces, these are very safe on the surface. What it really comes down to is supervision of children.
For dry slides, it’s important to make sure that children are taking their turns going down the slide. It’s possible for injury to occur to children who bump too fast into each other. This also applies to inflatable water slides, especially since water will make children slide faster. Another important aspect of water slides is the water part. It’s technically possible to drown on less than a handful of water. Make sure that children on an inflatable water slide are big enough not to need to worry about them getting water in their lungs, somehow.
As always, supervision is key to the safety of the children. Keep this in mind when looking for an inflatable for sale for children. If you have any advice about inflatable safety, please leave a comment in the comment section below.

Using A Giant Inflatable For Fun
When it comes to designing a giant inflatable, Inflatable Design Group sure has done a lot of the advertising variety. While inflatables made just for the purpose of advertising are important to many people, the focus of today’s post is all about giant inflatables for fun. What I mean by this are the kinds of inflatables that are meant for entertainment purposes, such as an inflatable slide for children’s parties.
If you have a child whose birthday is coming up, why not make it an extra special occasion? Kids go crazy over inflatable slides, obstacle courses, and interactive bouncing rooms. And there’s nothing wrong with making all of the other parents jealous when their kids tell them how much fun they had at your child’s party. When it comes to birthdays, nothing says “Party!” like a giant inflatable slide with a big red racing car on it.
Birthdays are just one type of event where a giant inflatable, fun-filled time can be had by all. Sporting events are another great place to display a giant inflatable. Now, I’m not saying it would be appropriate to sit a big bouncing room in a football field. Rather, I’m talking about having a custom-built, giant inflatable entryway for a sports team about to enter the field.
Giant inflatable arches and entryways can be used in a plethora of events beyond sports gigs. Local carnivals, charities, church youth get-togethers, and many other kinds of community get-togethers can all benefit from having a giant inflatable entryway. Think about how inviting a giant arch with bright colored patches and the word “Welcome!” would be to a local cook-off.
Some types of fun inflatables go way beyond what you’d expect. Some events are so big that they require inflatables that are actually fitting to the immensity of the occasion by their very size and scope. I’m talking about humongous inflatable obstacle courses. We’ve done a few ourselves, including our record breaking Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Intergalactic Encounter, which is the world’s largest inflatable structure. You can check it out at our main website.
At the end of the day, you can use a giant inflatable for just about any occasion beyond advertising purposes. We’ve done tons for various types of events, so we’ve got the experience, we know. For your next event, feel free to hit us up for a custom design. If you have a story in which you used a giant inflatable for fun, feel free to leave us a comment below telling us how it went.

When to Get Custom Inflatables
Although there is such a wide variety of inflatable types and many different reasons someone might get inflatables, some people may find that they need to get custom inflatables for their special needs. In today’s post, I will discuss who might need custom inflatables and when they should plan on getting them.
I think it’s important to start this post by looking at who might need to get custom inflatables. There are many answers to this question. Small businesses might need to get custom inflatables for their promotional needs. Individual people might need the services of a company who does custom inflatables. It really depends on the situation.
Perhaps a local car dealership needs an advertisement to get people’s attention as they drive by. Sure, they could get 1 of many car logos inflated for them. However, that doesn’t really set them apart from the vast number of car dealerships out there. In such a scenario, it might be prudent to have custom inflatables tailored just for them, such as the logo of their business.
Custom inflatables might be good for small businesses, but they are also good for individual people. They could be used for birthday parties, special community events, or even fundraisers. One example could be someone putting together a going away party for a loved one.
Let’s say a couple has a daughter who has just graduated from high school and now she is headed off to college. They want to throw a big going away party for their daughter. They want a giant inflatable featuring their daughter’s favorite animal, a bright pink pony. In this scenario, it’s possible that this couple is unable to find a pre-made pony.
They might have to order a custom-made pink pony inflatable for their daughter’s party. They would have to find a company that does that kind of work, or face what they think might be a lackluster party for their special daughter.
Our company, Inflatable Design Group, does, in fact, own a large variety of customer-designed inflatables in our repertoire. We’ve done custom inflatables for a variety of occasions and reasons. If you’re here because you need help finding something for your inflatable needs, check out our website. If anything, you can contact us to get a quote.
Beyond that, we’d like to hear from our readership if they have any stories regarding custom inflatables. If you have any comments or ideas about custom inflatables, please share your thoughts below in the comments section.

Who Would Want A Giant Inflatable Animal
An inflatable animal can be used for more than just fun. As has been discussed in other posts, inflatables can be used for fun, as well as business promotional efforts. In this post, I want to twist things around just a little bit. Instead of talking about how custom giant inflatables can be used for fun, I’m going to talk about how an inflatable animal can be used for more than just for fun.
Usually, when people think about an inflatable animal they think about the various fun situations in which they can be found. An example of this could be at carnivals, or even children’s birthday parties. It’s no secret that children are not only fascinated by large brightly colored inflatables, but they also tend to be enthralled with animals. This is especially true about cartoon animals. A birthday party featuring a giant inflatable animal, such as Curious George the monkey, would sure to be a popular with children.
Another take on the use of inflatable animal pieces could be for advertising purposes. Even though you might expect to see an inflatable animal at a children’s event, it’s also possible to see an inflatable animal being used to advertise for a store. A possible example of this could be a pet shop with a giant inflatable puppy tethered outside of the store. An even better idea would be to feature a couple different giant inflatable animals to peak the interest in people with different tastes in pets.
A third option for getting an inflatable animal would be neither for parties nor stores. A giant inflatable animal could potentially be used in a parade. It could be tied down to a parade float to liven up annual events. Think of it as being similar to how parades sometimes use balloons shaped like different animals or cartoon characters.
When looking for an inflatable animal for whatever occasion, it’s important to make sure you can get the one you want. There are many inflatable companies that offer animals in their catalogs, but you might not always find what you are looking for. Finding a company that offers custom made inflatables would be the best course of action in such a scenario.
Here at Inflatable Design Group we have an animal inflatable collection, should you wish to peruse it at our main website. We also offer custom quotes for custom jobs. If you have any comments, concerns, or questions feel free to leave them in the comment section below.
